MaZimba came to us with a clear ambition — build a digital home for Zimbabweans living abroad. The diaspora was scattered across platforms, with no dedicated space that understood their culture, language, and the specific experience of living between two worlds.
Our job was to listen first. We spent the first two weeks talking to people in the community — in Manchester, London, Leeds and online — before a single screen was designed. What we heard shaped everything: people wanted to feel seen, not served.
